Reagan Thiess brings eight years of experience teaching science and is excited to join the Greer Preparatory Academy community as both a science educator and Assistant Principal. She is passionate about inspiring students to develop a love for science while helping them achieve their academic goals. Mrs. Thiess believes that creating a supportive and engaging learning environment is essential to helping students become confident, well-rounded learners.
Before transitioning into education, Mrs. Thiess built a successful career in healthcare sales, where she held various leadership and professional development roles. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Clemson University in 2000 and uses her diverse background to bring real-world connections and applications into the classroom, making science meaningful and relevant for students.
As Assistant Principal, Mrs. Thiess looks forward to working alongside students, families, and staff to promote academic achievement, encourage personal growth, and support the mission of Greer Preparatory Academy. She is excited to contribute to a school culture focused on student success and lifelong learning.
Mrs. Thiess lives in Greenville with her husband, Jason, and their son, Harrison. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring new ways to make science engaging and inspiring for young learners.
