Rebecca Ramonbeebe grew up in the western suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, and relocated with her family to the Upstate in late 2016. She and her husband are the proud parents of three children, all of whom attend Greer Preparatory Academy. Their family has embraced the welcoming Greer community and is proud to be part of the Blazer family.
This school year marks Mrs. Ramonbeebe's thirteenth year in education and her ninth year teaching third grade. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Whether they're watching movies, exploring the outdoors, camping, cheering on their children's athletic teams, or taking day trips to discover new adventures around the Upstate, Mrs. Ramonbeebe values making lasting memories together. In the fall, her family can also be found enthusiastically cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.
Mrs. Ramonbeebe earned her Bachelor of Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2009. Her passion for literacy and helping young readers thrive inspired her to pursue a Master of Arts in Reading and Literacy, which she completed through Ashford University in 2016.
Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, Mrs. Ramonbeebe continues to expand her expertise through ongoing professional development and doctoral-level coursework in Curriculum and Instruction at the American College of Education. She has also earned her LETRS certification, further strengthening her knowledge of evidence-based literacy instruction. Looking ahead, Mrs. Ramonbeebe plans to pursue National Board Certification as she continues to grow as an educator and better serve her students.
