Amy Torlay is a school counselor with nine years of counseling experience working with middle schoolers at Hughes Academy. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master's degree in school counseling from Clemson University. Prior to being a school counselor, she worked in sales. Her decision to pursue school counseling was inspired by raising her two sons who are now in their twenties. She finds the greatest fulfillment in watching students grow and evolve over time, encouraging them, and celebrating their successes along the way.
