Mrs. Walter is excited to teach middle school Art this year at GPA! She grew up nearby in Sugar Creek, is a graduate of Riverside High School, and earned her Art degree from The University of South Carolina. Her first career was in publishing, graphic design, and photography. She earned her Masters in Education from Anderson University and has taught grades K4-5, including gifted & talented, for the last 17 years.

Mrs. Walter is married with three children: one in the workforce, one at USC, and one joining GPA as an 8th grader this year. Mrs. Walter loves for students to explore their creativity and curiosities in class.
